The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals excluding fuel, atomic and minor minerals in January 2005 is estimated at Rs.918 crore as against Rs.750 crore for January 2004. The total value of these minerals in December 2004 was estimated at Rs.875 crore.
