A day-long mass awareness programme on water conservation is to be initiated at Monghyr, Bihar tomorrow. The programme will be launched by the Minister of State for Water Resources, Shri Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav. The campaign is being started by the Central Water Board, Central East Region, Patna.
This mass awareness programme is in continuation of the World Water Day which is observed every year on March 22. The programme is meant to focus on the increasing depletion of ground water and on its conservation.
