The State Government of Rajasthan did not receive any assistance for Indira Gandhi Nahar Project (IGNP) under the Border Areas Development Programme (BADP) from 1999-2000 onwards. The Central Loan Assistance provided under the Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme (AIBP) during the last three years is as under:-
Rs. in Crore 2001-2002 : 47.400 2002-2003 : 76.100 2003-2004 : 111.060 Total : 234.560 The project is scheduled for completion during the XI Five Year Plan.
This information was given by the Minister of State for Water Resources, Shri Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
