Hindi Salahakar Samiti for the Ministry of Small Scale Industries has been reconstituted with the Minister of SSI and ARI Shri Mahabir Prasad as its Chairman and the Jt. Secretary (SSI), as Member-Secretary. Besides, there are 21 Members attached to the Samiti consisting Members of Parliament, non-official Members nominated by the Department of Official Language, Officers of the Ministry, Members nominated by Akhil Bharatiya Hindi Sangathan and Members nominated by the Hon’ble Minister. The term of the Samiti will be for three years. The Samiti will advise the Ministry regarding progressive use of Hindi in Official Language.
