In a section of the Press, news items have appeared about the guidelines issued by the Union Government to the State of Bihar regarding the transfer of officials in Bihar during the President’s rule, etc. In this regard, it is clarified that whenever President’s rule is imposed in any State, such guidelines are routinely issued to the State Government by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
