The President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam received the book, “Naseema – The Incredible Story” at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The book is an autobiography of Naseema Hurzuk, a wheelchair-bound paraplegic woman who has been working for over twenty-five years for rehabilitation of other physically challenged persons. She is the founder of Helpers of the Handicapped based in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The book was originally written in Marathi and titled, “Chakrachi Khurchi” (“The Wheelchair”).
