The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Dipak Chatterjee, IAS (WB:66)(Retd.), formerly Commerce Secretary, as Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in the rank of a Secretary to the Government of India.
He has been appointed for a period of six months from the date he assumes charge.
