CBI ARRESTS AN ACCUSED FOR FORGING OF HIGH COURT ORDER:

The CBI has arrested an accused from Ghaziabad for allegedly forging the orders of Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad.
The Special Judicial Magistrate, Ghaziabad has remanded him to 10 days police custody.


The CBI had registered a case on the directions of Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad wherein the Court had directed the CBI to investigate the forgery of two of its orders dtd. 17.4.03 and 25.5.03.
During the investigation the CBI recovered the copies of forged orders from the residence of accused at Ghaziabad.
The purpose for fabricating the forged orders of High Court was to get the benefit from the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) in the encroachment of a piece of land located in Nasirpur, Ghaziabad.
The copies of the same forged orders were also received by the office of the Chairman GDA through registered post.


The CBI sought the police remand of the accused for probing his further links and the modus operandi used by him to forge the High court Orders.
The CBI is also looking into the aspect of use of fake rubber stamps


and court seals used in preparing these forged documents.
