The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T.R. Baalu has approved reconstruction of Minor Bridge on NH 209 in the State of Tamil Nadu. The reconstruction would cost Rs. 32.16 lakhs.
Dindugul – Bangalore road of NH – 209 in an important road which connects the States of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. There is a very narrow and a weak bridge in Thippampatti near Pollachi and the existing bridge is not enough to cater to the present day traffic.
