weekend film festival on sunil dutt

The Weekend Film Festival beginning June 17, 2005 will be a tribute to the versatile and adventurous actor and man of substance Sunil Dutt. The Festival provides a glimpse into the reel life of this great actor through a collection of five of his popular films.

The Festival opens with Mehboob Khan’s ‘Mother India’ at 6.30 p.m. on 17th June, 2005 at Siri Fort Auditorium. Running into the next two days, the Festival would screen two films of Sunil Dutt on Saturday and Sunday at 2.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. The films being screened are Mujhe Jeene Do, Waqt, Amrapali and Yadein.

Entry to all the shows is free. The passes will be available from Siri Fort Auditorium II one hour before each show on first come first served basis.

The Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, in collaboration with National Film Archives of India holds the Weekend Film Festivals of legendary film personalities by screening their great films.
