The attention of the Prime Minister has been drawn once again to reports in the print and electronic media alleging that the Prime Minister's Office has done a rating of various Ministers based on which some Ministers could be dropped from the Union Council on grounds of poor performance. These reports are totally baseless and mischievous in intent and continue to appear despite earlier denials issued by the Prime Minister’s office. No such performance rating of Ministers has been undertaken by the PMO.
