The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has expressed deep shock and grief over the passing away of former Indian Cricket Team Captain Syed Mushtaq Ali.
In a message, the Prime Minister described him as one of the finest all-rounders who represented India with great distinction. He added that Mushtaq Ali would be remembered for his stylish batting, quality spin-bowling and for carrying on highest traditions of sportsmanship.
