The Home Minister has strongly condemned today’s blast at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir in which some people have been killed. Following the blast, Shri Shivraj Patil reviewed the situation with the Home Secretary, Shri V.K. Duggal and Special Secretary, (Internal Security), Shri Anil Chaudhary.
The Home Minister said, “This is a desperate act on the part of those who do not want the situation in the State to improve. Despite these provocations, the Government would continue its endeavour to establish normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. I condemn the blast and offer my sympathies to the bereaved families.”
