The Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has expressed heart-felt grief over the sad demise of former Governor of Bihar and Gujarat and renowned nationalist leader, Shri Sunder Singh Bhandari.
In his message the Vice President said that he had known Shri Bhandari very closely since 1951. Shri Bhandari was a symbol of simplicity and highest moral values. The way he spent his life in the service of the common masses with dedication and selfless manner is an example for others in public life. The country has suffered a great loss in the death of a `Karmayogi’ like Shri Bhandari, the Vice President added.
