In a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, the Minister of State for Railways Shri R. Velu informed the house that the scheme for upgradation of passengers, against the vacant accommodation available in Upper Class is under examination consistent with provision of the Railways Act, 1989.
He also informed the House that implementation schedule would be decided after the approval of the scheme.
