The Government has appointed Consultants to suggest best option for bringing synergy of operations between two Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) -- BSNL and MTNL and not necessarily for merger of two PSUs. This was stated by Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology today in the Rajya Sabha in a written reply to the question by Smt. Kamla Manhar.
