A Malaysian Parliamentary Delegation led by Mr. Tan Sri Dato Seri Di Raja Ramli Bin Ngah Talib, Speaker of House of representative of Malaysia called on the Vice President & Chairman (Rajya Sabha) Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhwat here today.
Mr. Talib and the members of his delegation exchanged views with Shri Shekhawat on the functioning of the Parliamentary democracy in India and Malaysia. They also had wide ranging discussions on issues relating to close cultural and ethnic ties between the people of India and Malaysia as also the possibilities of increasing economic cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.
The meeting lasted for half an hour.
