Air Marshal AK Singh AVSM VM VSM, AOC-in-C HQ Western Air Command has flagged off the Western Air Command Adventure Cell’s Motorcycle Expedition team from India Gate today.
Western Air Command, Indian Air Force Adventure Cell is conducting a Motorcycle Expedition ‘SAGAR SE AKASH TAK’ FROM 15 –26 Jul 2005.
The expedition team consists of 11 air warriors (3 officers and 8 airmen). The team would be braving all odds to cover the total distance of 3500 kms. They would pass the states of Delhi, Rajastha, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarachal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, while carrying message of peace, harmony and brotherhood to the country people.
Air Warriors of Indian Air Force have always been in the fore front be it War or Peace and Air Warriors of Western Air Command are equally active in the field of Adventure and sports, Air Mshal AK Singh, AOC-in-C Western Air Command said during his address to team and wish the motorcyclists all the very best and happy landings.
