Defence Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Dr. Biplab Dasgupta. In his condolence message, the Minister said that his untimely death has snatched away a veteran Communist Leader, true patriot and a great scholar which is a great personal loss to him and to the country. For several decades, Shri Dasgupta made significant contribution to politics and the struggle of working class.
Shri Mukherjee expressed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to give them strength to bear this irreparable loss.
