With a view to avoid genuine hardship being faced by the taxpayers in filing quarterly statements of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) for the quarter ending 30.6.2005, it has been decided by the Central Board of Direct Taxes to extend the due date for filing these statements (both in electronic media and in paper format) to 31st August, 2005 in respect of all taxpayers.
