The Consultative Committee attached to the Ministry of Agriculture moured the demise of Shri P.K. Vasudevan Nair, Member of Parliament and adjourned their scheduled meeting here today. The Union Agriculture Minister Shri Sharad Pawar said that Shri Vasudevan Nair was deeply concerned about the country’s agricultural development and issues concerning farmers. His speech in the current Lok Sabha regarding problems faced by the agricultural community were excellent, he recalled. His contribution to the Lok Sabha and to the development of the Kerala State will be long remembered, Shri Pawar said.
