A new Tribes India outlet has opened at the gallery No.2 of Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan at Baba Kharag Singh Marg to showcase the tribal art. The articles displayed here have been directly sourced from tribal artisan from the interiors of the forest to popularise their unique art and craft. Each item available here is superbly handcrafted and genuine.
The wide array of articles include Hand woven Tribal textiles and embroidery, Metal craft, Tribal Jewelry, Can and Bamboo products, Terracotta and stone pottery, Tribal paintings, Gifts and Novelties, Organic and Natural Produce.
The initiatives has been taken by Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) which is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
