The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today approved the Gevra Opencast expansion Project of the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) at a capital investment of Rs. 1667.55 crores and completion cost of Rs. 1897.80 crores.
The project will produce 25 million tonnes of coal of grade-F per year. Coal produced will be supplied to the linked customers to meet the demand of Korba coalfield.
