The President of India has been pleased to appoint Shri Sushilkumar Sambhaji Rao Shinde, Governor of Andhra Pradesh, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Chhattisgarh, in addition to his own duties, during the absence, on leave, of Lt. Gen.(Retd.) K.M.Seth, AVSM, PVSM, Governor of Chhattisgarh with effect from July 28. 2005.
