In Karnataka, terrestrial Radio and TV Coverage is available to 97.3% and 82.4% population respectively. Subject to the approval and availability of funds with installation of three 10 kW FM transmitters viz. one each at Gulbarga, Sringeri and Bellary, proposed in the 10th Plan, radio coverage will be increased to 98.75% population in Karnataka.
