The Department of Information Technology (DIT) has constituted a Working Group consisting of members from Software industry and the DIT to examine the issues relating to increase PC penetration, utilisation/coverage of internet and growth of domestic software market in the country. DIT has identified the above thrust areas for action during the next two to three years.
The Committee will look into the issues related to these areas and make suitable suggestions for action to the Government as well as the Software Industry.
