The Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat released the PROBE Journalists National diary-2005 here today. Shri Shekhawat appreciated the activities of PROBE particularly its efforts to improve the standards of the print and photo journalism in the country by providing a constructive forum to media persons. The Diary has been brought out by PROBE (A Resource Centre for Journalists) and coincides with its Fifth Anniversary Celebrations.
The President of PROBE, Shri V.S. Ramanathan and Executive Secretary Shri Silveri Srishailam were present on the occasion. PROBE (A Resource Centre for Journalists) is basically a society for protecting and advocating the freedom of speech and expression, standards of Journalistic Profession and spreading awareness among the general public about current socio-legal issues.
