shri namo narain meena contributes rs. 25 lakhs for tsunami affected regions

Minister of State for Environment and Forests Shri Namo Narain Meena has contributed Rs. 25 lakhs from his MPLADS (Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) fund for undertaking relief and rehabilitation measures in the Tsunami affected regions of India.

In a letter to the Speaker, Lok Sabha, Shri Meena said that he has sanctioned the amount for relief and rehabilitation works in the wake of natural calamity.

Shri Meena had earlier contributed a month’s salary towards Prime Minister Relief Fund to provide relief to the tsunami victims.
