India, a confident nation, is all set to become a major power - economically and socially. The Government of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) has prepared roadmaps in all the major sectors to provide ample opportunities for sustainable growth of the nation as a whole. The policies aim at unleashing creative energies of the scientists, entrepreneurs, engineers and other productive forces of the society.
Ever since in the power, the focus of this Government has been on the development of the rural India that include the welfare of farmers and providing equal opportunity to people without any distinction of caste, gender and religion. Besides, reforms with a human face would ensure that the benefits flowing from them reach the urban poor and rural areas, where the vast majority of our population lives.
There is no doubt that these policies would lead the nation to the path of accelerated development and would make the 21st century belong to us.
