ELECTION COMMISSION ORDERS TRANSFER OF SENIOR OFFICIALS OF HARYANA GOVERNMENT
The Election Commission today asked the Haryana Government to transfer immediately Shri M.S.Malik, Director General of Police who is on deputation to the Election Commission of India in terms of section 28A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. The Commission also asked the government to send a panel of names for deciding the successor of Shri Malik as DGP. The Commission further directed that Shri Malik to hand over the charge of his office to the senior most police officer in the State.
The Commission has also directed the State Government to transfer immediately Shri Rajesh Kumar Khuller, Director, of Public Relations, Haryana and Shri OM Parkash, Deputy Director of Public Relations from their posts.
