The President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has expressed his deep pain and grief over the loss of a number of lives in a stampede in the town of Wai in Maharashtra.
In a message to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Dr. Kalam said, “he is sure the State Government is making all efforts to provide relief and succour to those affected by this tragedy. He has conveyed his condolences to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in this tragedy and also prays to the almighty to give the injured an early recovery.”
