To share the experiences of governmental organizations regarding best administrative practices, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances has planned a series of presentations before the senior officers of Central and State Governments. In this regard the state government of Karnataka and Gujarat made presentations before a number of Secretary level officers in Vigyan Bhawan today.
Karnataka officials presented their experiences of “Bhoomi”, an IT based land record maintenance system, while Gujarat Government presented “Gujarat Emergency Earthquake Reconstruction Project”. Both these innovations have received Commonwealth Association of Public Administration and Management International Innovation Awards.
