The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh met the President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting between the two leaders lasted 30 minutes.
The Prime Minister briefed the President about his recent visits to Tsunami affected areas and the relief work being undertaken there. The reconstruction of houses of the affected persons for their long term rehabilitation formed the focus of discussions. The two leaders also discussed other matters of National and International importance.
