nalco pays rs.2 crore to pm's relief fund

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the public sector aluminium major, has contributed Rs. 2 crore to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of people hit by the unprecedented Tsunami disaster in India and other neighbouring countries.

The Union Minister of Mines, Shri Sis Ram Ola handed over yesterday the cheque for Rs. 2 crore to the Prime Minister, Shri Manmohan Singh. Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao, Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Shri C.D. Arha, Secretary, Ministry of Mines and Shri G. Upadhyaya, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NALCO, were present.
