The Minister of Labour and Employment Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao presented a cheque for Rs. 1.09 crore to the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund here today. The employees of the Labour Ministry, Employees State Insurance Corporation, Employees Provident Fund Organisation and other subordinate offices of the Ministry have donated the amount as their one-day’s salary for the victims of December tsunami.
