Indo-Japan Coast Guard High Level Delegation meeting held in New Delhi today. The Japanese delegation led by Commandant Japanese Coast Guard Mr. Hiroki Ishikawa and the Indian delegation by Director General Coast Guard Vice Admiral AK Singh. They discussed about the future contingency plan and cooperation in countering the Tsunami tremor and other such eventuality with precision and joint effort. The regular joint exercise between two largest Coast Guard in the continent also features in the high level talks.
Later, the Japanese delegation also called on Defence Secretary Shri Ajai Vikram Singh and Defence Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Earlier on his arrival in the Coast Headquarters he was presented a Guard of Honour by the Coast Guard Jawans. The delegation is on a two-day visit to India.
