The Public Sector Organisations under the Ministries of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Steel have responded to national concerns for rehabilitation of victims of the recent tsunami tragedy. The Organisations and their employees have contributed over Rs.6 crore to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. The employees of the Organisations have donated a day’s salary for the victims. The major contributors are:

Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, the Minister of Chemicals , Fertilizers and Steel, presented cheques to the Prime Minister. The Minister expressed his deep gratitude towards the management and employees of the Organisations for their generous donation and coming forward in providing relief to the victims of the tsunami calamity.
