Dr. P.D. Shenoy has taken over charge as a whole-time Member of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) on January 7, 2005. His appointment is for a period of five years or until further orders whichever is early, according to the terms and conditions prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 and the Consumer Protection Rules, 1987 as amended from time to time.
