allocation of foodgrains to the drought affected state of andhra pradesh during 2004-05

Ministry of Rural Development has released 2,20,000 MTs of foodgrains(Rice) to the State Government of Andhra Pradesh under the Special Component of the Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana(SGRY) to be utilized for completion of relief works already started in the drought affected Districts of the State. This release is recommended by the Drought Management Division of the Ministry of Agriculture.

FCI has been accordingly advised to release foodgrains under the Special Component of the SGRY to the Government of Andhra Pradesh as follows:

The above allocation is to be implemented keeping in view the Guidelines of Special Component of the SGRY including the State dovetailing the provision of various States/Centrally Sponsored Scheme with employment generation components/their own resources to meet the cash component of wage and the material cost for the works etc. as prescribed under the Scheme.
