The Finance Minister proposes to introduce the international practice of establishing the Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs) in major cities to provide Single Window Services. The Minister invites all the large tax payers whether of corporate tax or income tax or excise duty or service tax to participate in the programme and avail the single window service at the large tax payer units. For small tax payers, the Minister proposes to set up help centres in cooperation with industry associations, professional bodies and the NGOs.
