The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, called on the President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who is admitted in the Army Research and Referral hospital, New Delhi, for treatment of his injury. The Prime Minister spent ten minutes with the President and wished him a speedy recovery.
The Prime Minister also spoke to the doctors and enquired about the health of the President.
