The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh met the President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhawan today. The meeting lasted 30 minutes. The two leaders discussed matters of National and International importance.
The forthcoming Governor’s Conference on 8th and 9th February was discussed. The President’s visit to Tsunami affected areas beginning 11th February from Andaman and Nicobar Islands and long term rehabilitation plans there and in other Tsunami affected areas also figured during the discussions.
