The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has expressed shock and grief at the demise of Shri Vinod Pandey.
A former Cabinet Secretary, and a former Governor, Shri Pandey had made several important contributions to the country during his career. Recalling his administrative acumen and reputation for probity as assets in a lengthy career of public service, Dr. Singh extended his condolences to the family of Shri Pandey.
