Ministry of Urban Employment & Poverty Alleviation has released almost the entire amount of Rs.65crore meant for North Eastern States including Sikkim for various projects during 2004-05. These 16 new projects at a cost of about Rs.190 crore have been sanctioned under 10% lump sum budget meant for North Eastern States including Sikkim.
