The Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Oommen Chandy has thanked the Union Power Minister, Shri P.M. Sayeed for the expansion project of NTPC at Kayamkulam. It may be recalled that the foundation stone for the expansion project was laid by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India last Wednesday. In a letter addressed to the Union Power Minister, the Chief Minister of the state has said that this path-breaking development will make the state self-sufficient in power generation and will create possibilities for supplying power to the neighboring states. He thanked the Power Minister for his leadership in making this dream a reality.
