In contrast with the demoralized BJP, a buoyant Uma
Bharti, who was expelled recently, said that she may
reconsider a return to the saffron but it would only
be on her own terms and conditions.
"If invited by the new party President Rajnath
Singh to return to the party fold, I will only go on
my own terms and conditions," the fiery leader
said.
Bharti, now on her "Ram Roti Yatra" which
entered Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, termed her return
to the party last time as her biggest mistake.
She said though she was still emotionally attached
to the party, it could not be run through remote control.
The BJP had deviated from the ideology of Pt. Deen Dayal
Upadhyaya, Bharti said, adding there was need to reverse
this process.
