Adopting an offensive stance towards sulking Raj Thackeray
who quit all party posts on 30th November, Shiv Sena
Executive President Uddhav Thackeray said that the party
would not be affected even if a leader quits.
Talking to newsmen in Thane, Uddhav said that that when
some people quit, it does not mean that the Sena is
finished.
Uddhav's comments come amid media reports that Raj was
not in a mood for compromise with the Sena leadership.
The reports also suggest that he would float his own
outfit soon.
Uddhav visited Thane to meet injured party workers
who were assaulted by supporters of former Sena leader
Narayan Rane when they went to take possession of a
Sena `shakha' allegedly occupied by Rane supporters.
Uddhav alleged Rane's supporters had assaulted Sena
workers by taking `undue advantage of police support'.
