Though Sania Mirza is supposed to have brought smiles
on the lips of 100 million people, as a hoarding suggests,
she will have to wait before being included as a chapter
in the textbooks. Sania was short listed by NCERT earlier
but the idea has been placed on the back burner. Her
achievement of being the 31st on the world map is not
being considered enough. It has been decided to give
her some more time to further her place under the sun.
NCERT has a policy of including young achievers in
the text books.
