Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will appear before a Jodhpur
court in a hearing scheduled for today in the 1998 black buck
hunting case. Salman had filed an undertaking before the Bombay
High Court yesterday stating the date for his appearance before
the Jodhpur court.
The Jodhpur court had on December 12 issued a non-bailable
warrant against him for failing to
appear for the recording of his statement. Khan had applied
to the high court for anticipatory bail to prevent the Rajasthan
police from arresting him.
On December 15, the HC issued a stay on the Non bailable
warrant and asked Salman to file an undertaking by December
19.
