Salman files a plea in the Bombay High Court

Salman Khan had filed an appeal to the Bombay High Court against the non – bailable warrant issued by the Jodhpur court. The arrest warrant was issued by the Jodhpur Court , in 1998 Black Buck poaching case.

Khan has filed an appeal to not be arrested till hearing of his application. Even in the case of arrest it request’s that the actor be released on bail as per condition decided by the high court.

The application filed on Tuesday will come up for hearing on Dec 14. It further stated that khan was unable to appear in the Jodhpur court as he had to undergo a surgery. Meanwhile, the Jodhpur court on monday cancelled Khan’s application for his absence from the court and has ordered the arrest in the poaching case, so as to be produced before court on Jan 12.

Salman Khan is the main accused in the poaching cases registered against him at Mathania police sation in October 1998. ‘‘Salman bhai is tense over the arrest warrant. But he will go to Jodhpur only if his petition seeking cancellation of the warrant is rejected by the Bombay High Court,’’ said a source close to Khan.

“ Salman will be sent to judicial custody, if the judge rejects the plea” said a senior Rajasthan High Court advocate. Meanwhile, Prakash Mehrda, Superintendent of Police, Jodhpur, denied that a police team was sent to Mumbai to arrest Salman.
